Can I return wallpaper if I change my mind?
We accept returns on standard wallpapers manufactured by Holden and AS Creation only, within 30 days of purchase, provided the following conditions are met:
✅ The wallpaper is unopened and undamaged.
✅ The wallpaper is a standard stock item (not a "Special Order" wallpaper).
✅ The wallpaper’s RRP is less than $200 per roll.
✅ You are returning fewer than 6 rolls.
✅ The wallpaper is not a clearance item.
✅ The wallpaper is not a custom order (e.g., murals, special prints, or made-to-order designs).
✅ Returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee.
🚚 Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.

How do I know which brand my wallpaper is?
You can find the brand of your wallpaper in the Product Information and Technical Details section on the product page. If you're unsure or can't find this information, feel free to contact us at hi@theinside.co.nz, and we'll be happy to help!
Why can't I return wallpaper from other brands?
We can only accept returns for standard wallpapers manufactured by Holden and AS Creation because these are the brands we regularly stock.
Wallpapers from other brands are often special order items, meaning they are ordered specifically for you and cannot be resold. Because of this, we cannot accept returns on these products, even if they are unopened.

How do I request a return?
If your wallpaper is eligible for return, you can submit a request through our Returns Portal:

Returns must be pre-approved, and any items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted. If you're unsure whether your wallpaper qualifies for a return, please contact us before submitting a request at hi@theinside.co.nz.
Will I receive a full refund for my return?
Refunds on eligible wallpaper returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee. This fee covers administrative and handling costs associated with processing returns.
Who is responsible for return shipping?
Customers are responsible for covering the cost of return shipping for eligible wallpaper returns. We do not provide prepaid return labels.
📦 Important: Please ensure your return is carefully packaged to prevent damage during transit. We recommend:
- Using the original packaging if possible.
- Securing the rolls to prevent movement.
- Choosing a tracked and insured shipping method, as we cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged return shipments.

Can I cancel my wallpaper order?
- If your order has not yet been processed, we may be able to cancel it—please contact us as soon as possible.
- If the order has already been processed or shipped, our standard return policy applies.
What if my wallpaper arrives damaged or faulty?
If your wallpaper is damaged or faulty, please notify us within 24 hours of receiving your order. We will assess the issue and, if deemed faulty, we will arrange collection of the item and a replacement or refund.
Important: Please carefully inspect your wallpaper before installation. If you find a defect, do not install it—we cannot accept claims once the wallpaper has been cut or applied.
